I'm Catherine, but you can call me Catie! I'm a wedding photographer based in Charleston, SC specializing in romantic and bright imagery for couples planning their dream wedding.

In my free time you can find me reading a good book, daydreaming about Disney, eating way too much sushi or watching The Office with my Golden Retriever, Toulouse, and my gray kitty, Gus. Yes, they are both named after Disney characters!

Majority of your wedding day you will find me snapping all of the candid and unplanned moments that you may not remember. All I want you to do is smile, have fun and soak it all in. You will be looking back on these photos for years to come!

I grew up watching all the Disney movies. I'm pretty sure that's all that was ever on our TV! Now I am able to visit DisneyWorld and witness the magic in person. It is one of my favorite places in the world.

My biggest support system! I am so thankful for my family and having them here to walk with me every step of the way through life. They're my absolute best friends!

I was born in Orlando, Florida where my mom worked at SeaWorld in the education department. My sisters and I were able to do and see things that a lot of people won't ever experience. I truly believe this is what sparked my love for the ocean and especially Stingrays.

I was just recently introduced last year to Charcuterie boards and I was instantly obsessed. But I discovered I am awful at making them myself. So if anyone wants to teach me please send me a message!

For as long as I can remember I have always loved reading a good book. It's one of my absolute favorite hobbies. My dream is to have a library in my house someday like the one in Beauty and the Beast. Wouldn't that be amazing?!

I am a hopeless romantic. Constantly watching romantic comedies and Disney fairytales. My favorites are Big, Fifty First Dates, How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, and To All the Boys I've Loved Before.

CHP Couple

if you

- would take tea over coffee any day

- love candid photos as much as posed photos

- would pick a night curled up on the couch with a book and your fiancé over a night out

- want your dog to make an appearance at your wedding

- want to include lots of color and sparkle in your wedding

- are planning on having a honeymoon just as great as your wedding

- are secretly a Disney princess (or prince for my grooms reading!)

As you may know by now, I absolutely love to travel. I have been lucky enough to capture weddings in some of the most beautiful places the past few years. And I would love the opportunity to capture even more! If you are planning a destination please don't hesitate to reach out! Even if your destination isn't on the list below, I would still love to capture your big day anywhere.

my wedding day

My house is filled with printed pictures and special moments that I will always remember. I believe that life is meant to be documented and photographs are to be treasured forever. When you begin this journey of marriage together, there will be some days you want to (or need to) look back on your big day. To remember the little details like hugging your mom after first putting your dress on, wiping tears from your fiancé's face as you exchange vows, or dancing the night away with all of the most important people in your life.

I am here to capture those most intimate, candid moments, but also capture the posed family portraits and those first married photos that are so precious. There will be times where I guide you through how to pose, and times where I stand back and capture the moment unfold for you to remember after. I want you to enjoy every single moment of your big day and not have to stress about your photographs. You can sit back, relax, and truly enjoy your day knowing that you are in good hands with me! Your moments will be frozen in time for you to experience later on and pass down to future generations.
