This summer wedding was absolutely perfect. I had the honor to shadow Emily Meeks Photography at the beautiful wedding of Emily and Anthony. Even though this was my first time meeting the couple they made me feel as if I’ve known them for my whole life! Emily was eager to greet me and even more excited that she would have another photographer for her special day!
Emily and Anthony were married in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Though they aren’t native to Charleston, they handled the heat and humidity like true Charlestonians!
The Gadsden House is located on King Street in downtown Charleston. It is a quaint, white house that was built in 1798 by Christopher Gadsden himself. Emily’s elegant and classy style shown through and matched the historic house perfectly. Each piece of the wedding was flawless and exquisite.
If I had to pick a favorite part about this wedding it would for sure be the flower choices. There was a huge variety of flowers, but they all paired perfectly with each other! The colors blended well and it tied together the wedding. It definitely gave me a few ideas for my wedding in the future (probably the way future ?). This summer wedding is definitely in my favorites!
Enjoy the photos!! 🙂
The whole style of this wedding absolutely amazed me. Emily has such great taste and everything went together perfectly!
I love the simplicity of the one small flower on top of the menu.
Yummy, yummy cupcakes and sooo many sweets.
That Chance perfume is my FAVORITE! I have a bottle that I only use for special occasions 🙂
Emily is SO beautiful and was seriously glowing in these pictures! She couldn’t stop smiling!
