This baby announcement in Charleston was probably one of my absolute favorite things to capture. Mainly because I’ve been waiting for a while now to share this exciting news! That’s one of the best and worst things about being a photographer. I get to know all the secrets before everyone else, but I also have to keep them secret for a while! But no worries, I’m good at keeping secrets 🙂
Alright, so why was this baby announcement in Charleston so special to me?
Because it’s Jessica and Bobby! You might remember their wedding, engagement, or bridals! I’ve walked with Bobby and Jessica through a lot of their milestones in their relationship. They are two of my absolute favorite people. So it was really special for me to capture this for them.
And I am so excited that they are welcoming their baby into the world next year!
We explored the Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park to take their announcement photos. Jessica and Bobby brought the cutest baby outfits and signs to include in the photos! The light was stunning and the weather was surprisingly perfect out. Not too hot for the middle of the summer!
The great thing about being a photographer in Charleston is that there are so many amazing spots to take photos!
Even just at this one location we had so many different backdrops. Including the Yorktown and the Ravenel bridge!
Jessica and Bobby, thank you for always trusting me to document your most treasured moments in life. I can’t wait to see your journey together with another addition to the family!
But for now…let’s start planning where to take maternity photos here in Charleston!
