If you are looking for Desert Destination Wedding Inspiration, you are in the right place. I had the opportunity to attend an editorial planned together by Lauren Fair and Rachael Ellen Events. They are both so talented! She had an amazing team come and setup this romantic desert editorial while we were in Arizona for the Showit United Conference.
We drove up to the DC Country Club which is a dream venue. It has an open building with cream walls, old tiled floors, and a desert filled with cacti in the back. It was literally the perfect place that represents Arizona so well! The styled shoot was an hour long. We had the opportunity to listen to Lauren talk about how she captures weddings and her technique. It was such an amazing experience to see exactly how she gets her beautiful images!
The editorial was Old World Meets Europe themed. So the florals were dreamy and filled with pinks, oranges, and cream colors. In addition to that, the bridal gown looked like it belonged in a Disney movie. It was covered with pieces of jewels and soft tulle. With Liliya and Albert as the models, it made everything come together perfectly. Fun fact: they’re actually married in real life! So it was a nice anniversary session for them.

When I first got my film scans back from this editorial I was in shock. The walls look so creamy and light. It seriously looks like a painting to me! Oh the magic of film.

Basically this editorial was everything I dreamed it would be. It was the perfect touch to a perfect trip! I will definitely be going back to the Showit United Conference in 2020.
But for now, I will continue photographing my beautiful Charleston weddings!
