This Intimate Backyard Wedding in Charleston was held during the middle of the summer and was absolutely stunning. Wanda and Scottie had to postpone their wedding due to quarantine and the virus. But the second try was perfect!
They had the wedding right beside Lake Marion. The lake served as the perfect backdrop. It was actually a bit foggy outside due to the sand that made its way to the United States this weekend from overseas. But it gave us a little shade and a break from the sun!
If you are planning an intimate backyard wedding in Charleston, you need to look at these photos for inspiration!
Every single detail was very thoughtfully planned out. With lots of space in the backyard and only immediate family there, it was spread out so lots of social distancing! Wanda and her daughters woke up early to set up the flowers and decorations. You would have thought a professional came in and set it up!
There was a family style table on the porch for an intimate dinner. With little keepsakes on each plate. There were multiple desserts to choose from, including a smores table!! That’s where I would’ve been all night if I was a guest! And there was a little cart with peanuts, water and cokes to hold guests over until dinner was served.
Everything was so cute! But I think my favorite part of the wedding was seeing how excited everyone was for the two of them. There were tears shed during the toasts and ceremony. Happy tears though!
Take a look below at all of the magic that happened at this lake side wedding in South Carolina!
