Christina and Clif’s Historic Rice Mill Winter Wedding was one of my absolute favorites for multiple reasons. I have known Christina for a few years and I was there to witness their love story unfold. Being able to see that was amazing. Their story is sweet, and definitely a tear jerker. But it’s definitely not my story to tell! So I’ll tell you the story of their wedding day.
The day began with a salty breeze in the air. For the middle of December, the weather was actually absolutely perfect. Clif was hanging out with his family and friends at the Isle of Palms and I think Clif’s nerves calmed a lot after I told him to relax for a few hours before getting ready! Guys, it really doesn’t take too long for y’all to get ready! So it’s okay for you to relax a little longer, as long as you’re ready by the time we give you! 🙂
Christina, her bridal party, and her mom all got ready at the Courtyard in Downtown Charleston. Then we made our way to Second Presbyterian for the ceremony and first look! The first look was my favorite part of the day. Why? Because I love it when guys show emotion and Clif was so happy when he saw his beautiful bride! Just wait until you see the pictures below!
After their ceremony we made our way to the reception where everyone danced the night away. I’m not exaggerating either. This reception was one of my favorites because the dance floor was full the whole night!
Christina and Clif, I am so happy that I was able to take part in your big day. I know how long you have both dreamed of this perfect day and I hope it was everything you wanted it to be.

Side note: The Historic Rice Mill has the BEST catering.
Their mac and cheese was to die for. I like mac and cheese, but it’s not my favorite food. So it’s a big deal when I say I could’ve ate a huge bowl by itself.
Christina and Clif entered their wedding reception at The Historic Rice Mill.
The sweetest moment. Christina and Clif grabbed baby Nathan from the sidelines and took him in for their first dance. He was so good during the whole wedding and never cried at all!
This reception was SO much fun! I don’t think I stopped laughing because the dancing was nonstop. And it wasn’t just regular dancing. It was all out, sliding on the floor (look above) and singing into pretend microphones. There was no shame here!
And I figured this was the perfect ending! Haha, she was so worn out and knocked out in her mom’s lap. I had to grab a quick picture to document the end of this beautiful day.
