PERSONAL: WHY I DECIDED TO BECOME A PHOTOGRAPHER
My first time ever shooting film was at this stunning styled bridal shoot with Julie Livingston Photography. The florals, bridal dress, hair, makeup and model were absolutely beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better start to this journey with film.
Lowndes Grove plantation is one of the most beautiful venues in Charleston. To be honest, I've thought about having my wedding there some day! It is so naturally beautiful and right on the water overlooking the Charleston harbor.
I can't count how many times I've been asked why I decided to become a photographer. And the truth is, I don't have just one answer! There are so many reasons I decided to pursue this dream of mine.
Downtown Charleston Engagement The first time I met Bethany and Kenneth it was in a little Starbucks in Mount Pleasant. We talked for an hour about their wedding dreams, their life in Charleston and so much more. I felt like they were old friends and we were just catching up on life. So you can […]

Showit United 2019 Conference For those of you who didn’t see on my social media accounts the past few weeks, I went on an amazing trip to Arizona for the Showit United 2019 Conference! It was in Tempe Arizona, land of the cacti. Okay, I made that up, but seriously there were so many! I […]
Summer Wedding in Charleston Being a Charleston wedding photographer, you see lots of beautiful weddings, but Tommy & Ashlyn Cox’s summer wedding in Charleston at The Island House was one for the books! The sun was shining on this special day and there was a slight breeze blowing the smell of salt water across the […]
Part 4: Stealing My Mom’s Camera Okay I know that caption isn’t the greatest. “Stealing My Mom’s Camera”. But it was more like borrowing my mom’s camera. I mean, I gave it back! I only borrowed it for my photography class in college. Which is where I began to learn about how real cameras work. […]
Apparently Charleston has decided to altogether skip Fall, like usual, and go straight into Winter. *Queue the winter music and holiday decorating* So I thought I should put together my winter bucket list for this year! Since we don’t get snow here, except for that rare occasion, my bucket list is mostly just fun stuff […]
Part 3: Athletics vs. Art High school proved to be almost as challenging as middle school for a few reasons, but the main was balancing athletics and art. It became so challenging that I almost had to pick just one. Many of you may be thinking, “Why would you need to pick just one? You […]
