In addition to weddings and engagements here in the Lowcountry, I am also a senior photographer in Charleston! Being a Charleston senior photographer is so much fun. The graduates are always so excited and happy! Alex was no different. Full of fun ideas for pictures and of course, some champagne popping! Alex is now known as Dr. Sierko! How exciting and crazy is that?!
I remember when I was graduating high school and college I was so excited for my next steps in life. There is so much to look forward to! Unfortunately, I never had professional photos taken of me for either of my graduations. My mom took pictures of me for high school at Middleton Place. They are really nice to have, but I wish I had a wider variety! She did the same for my college graduation. Except we took those in my backyard haha! As much as I love them, I wish that I had hired a photographer to document these moments for me.
I swear you can’t go wrong with any pictures here in the Lowcountry.
Fun fact: I’ve known Alex for almost 10 years! We played volleyball in high school together and had a few classes together too. So this was a little reunion for us! Which was even better. I was so happy to document this special moment for her! Especially given the circumstances right now. This was her big celebration and beginning to life outside of school!
We were able to take her senior photos on a dock in Mount Pleasant, with the marshes and huge oaks filling the background.
She had some family friends who so graciously let us borrow their backyard and dock. Which made for the perfect location. Take a look at some of my favorites from her senior session!
