In 2019 I got to photography my first Destination Wedding in Jamaica, and it was absolutely amazing. Brittany and Dwayne are two of the sweetest people and they made me feel like family on this trip. We stayed at an all inclusive resort in Montego Bay. So think all you can eat from the best buffets, walking outside just a few feet away from the beach, crystal clear water, and all the activities you can dream of. It was nonstop celebrations!

It was basically everything you could dream of for your destination wedding.

We spent the week celebrating Brittany and Dwayne before their wedding day. The days were filled with so much food and drinks, plenty of sunshine, salty water, and lots of laughs. And on the day of the wedding we all woke up early and started the celebrations. The sun was shining down on everyone when Brittany made her way down the aisle to Dwayne. There were so many tears and smiling faces! It was seriously perfect in every way.

Dwayne let a few tears drop when he read his note from Brittany before their first look.

By far my absolute favorite moment of the day was during the first look when Dwayne shed a few happy tears the moment he saw Brittany. It was absolutely beautiful and such a special moment.

I can’t even express how much I love this photo. By far one of my absolute favorite photos I’ve taken so far in my career. These two had just walked down the aisle and exchanged vows. I didn’t even have to tell them to smile because they were both beaming!

This photo has a story behind it as well! As we were taking bride and groom photos right before the reception, there were a few guys cheering on Brittany and Dwayne. And no, none of us knew them! It was so funny and got the perfect reaction from Brittany.

Yes the reception was ON THE BEACH! How cool is that?! There is nothing better than the salty air from the ocean.

Montego Bay did such an amazing job planning this beautiful wedding reception.

And the party didn’t end here! This destination wedding went far into the night. There was so much to celebrate!

I can honestly say photographing destination weddings might be my new favorite thing.

If you are planning a destination wedding, I would definitely consider Jamaica! We stayed at an all inclusive resort which was perfect for the occasion. None of the guests had to worry about buying food, finding stuff to do the days before the wedding, or transportation to the ceremony and reception. Everything was walking distance! Montego Bay was the perfect location for Brittany and Dwayne’s destination wedding.
