To my brides reading, this Stables at Boals Farm wedding was the adorable and you have to consider using this wedding venue! This is the cutest little venue you will find in Mount Pleasant, SC! If you’re a country girl, this is the perfect wedding venue for you and your groom! There are huge pastures with horses roaming, a huge barn that has been turned into the perfect place for your reception and dining.
Sarah and Thomas had an oyster roast during their reception. How cool is that?! Very Southern and Charleston-like. To be honest, I don’t eat oysters. I know! I am a Charleston girl, but I don’t eat oysters. There was one bad experience that I had and I never recovered from that haha!
Another tradition that I saw for the first time at this wedding was burying a bottle of whiskey (before the wedding) and the bride and groom dug it up after the ceremony! It was covered in dirt, but they both still took a huge gulp to celebrate!
Sarah and Thomas were so adorable and had the most beautiful intimate wedding. I think what I loved most was how unique it was. They were so true to their style and made it their dream wedding. This was also my first time photographing a wedding at Boals Farm and I loved it there! The horse pasture made it even better!
I am so happy that I was able to be there! And that I am able to highlight their big day here on the blog! I hope you enjoyed!
