This week’s highlighted wedding vendor is The Vow Hair and Makeup! They are a hair and makeup team located in Greenville, SC, but they love to travel to Charleston for weddings! I’ve actually known Julie, one of the two owners, for years. We attended the same college, though just missed each other’s paths there, but she is best friends with another friend of mine who I went to high school and college with. I have been able to work with Julie and Heather on multiple occasions and I’ve also had my hair and makeup done twice for two of my best friends weddings! So I have lots of wonderful experiences with them!

I can attest to this! They made me feel beautiful when they did my hair and makeup for my friend’s weddings in Charleston and Greenville!
How would you describe your style?
Up to date. Enhancing the natural beauty of each client in our chair.
What do you love most about working in weddings?
Sharing a special experience with people on such a special day. There is a natural bond and trust that develops. Your heart gets touched when you are a reason someone feels so special, beautiful and confident.
Forming relationships with my Charleston couples on their wedding day is one of my favorite things.
What advice would you give to your couples who are preparing for their wedding day?
Enjoy the ride! Things may seem big and stressful, but in the end the Vows you are taking is the only thing that matters!!
What are your favorite wedding trends right now?
We are loving the way people having two different looks. Some have a skirt that comes off their dress and it turns into a more fitted dress or even a jumpsuit!
